Community Based Tourism
Community based tourism is tourism in which local residents (often rural, poor and economically marginalised) invite tourists to visit their communities with the provision of  cultural  shows, Folk dance, Arts, Lifestyle, Cuisine, Food Trials& at some sites ; overnight accommodation. The residents earn income as land managers, entrepreneurs, service and local produce providers, and employees. Community based tourism enables the tourist to discover their heritage, local habitats and wildlife, and celebrates and respects traditional cultures, rituals and wisdom. The tourist accommodation and facilities will be of sufficient standard for Western visitors, albeit those expecting simple rural accommodation. In simple word we educate the locals & the people around the society to value our own heritage & history which have protected our ancestors in the past. If they value it, it will bring them  the source of opportunities to make a living. This will keep the forts & heritage sites protected hence they will keep getting sustainable source of income for generations.

Create programs in collaboration with the communities in which we work and use local resources to have a positive social, environmental and financial impact. Facilitate community-based, innovative projects to help foster knowledge sharing, environmental stewardship, and cultural exchange. We are working towards the fort & heritage sites restoration with simple aim to develop the basic amenities & security to each traveller visiting these monuments. Our Mission is to be the bridge between respectful guests be it domestic or International, that are looking forward to discover forts, caves & Heritage sites of Maharashtra. We are aimed to cater the travellers which are striving to travel throughout Maharashtra in  a sustainable way where our  community based tourism programs can provide them with service, basic amenities & guidance with the help of their lifelong experience & bond with the local land. This contributes to community in terms of opportunity for self-employment, capacity development, education, conservation, sustainability and cultural empowerment.

The key to success

Community based tourism is sometimes known as, is a two-way street where tourism both provides local employment and income for education, development and conservation initiatives, while at the same time giving both hosts and guests a unique opportunity for cultural exchange. It is often with the help of an outside facilitator, that the community becomes aware of the commercial and social value placed on their natural and cultural heritage, and is encouraged to become actively involved in the conservation of these resources. As well as learning the necessary skills to run it as a sustainable business, while understanding the pros and cons of tourism.
